This program aims to improve student achievement by building and consolidating student knowledge and understanding of key concepts in numeracy or literacy.
Involvement in this program provides students with a positive, engaging learning experience that also fosters confidence in their academic ability.
Summer High School Preparatory Program
Grade 7 and 8 students will choose either numeracy or literacy for the three week summer program. Through authentic, inquiry-based learning, students may deepen their knowledge and understanding while consolidating concepts in their chosen area of focus.
Participation in this program will reinforce key concepts that are the foundations to success in Grade 8 and 9.
Daily attendance is required: Monday, July 4 – Wednesday July 22 from 8:15 – 12:30 @ Bluevale C.I.
