We are incredibly excited to be welcoming all new and returning MacGregor Mustangs to school on Tuesday, Sept. 5th.  While you have been enjoying your summer holidays, the construction crews and custodians have been busy all summer long working on our main office renovation.  It is near completion and the school and teachers are ready to welcome you back!

 

A few reminders for our first day:

  • the bell rings at 8:15 to allow students to enter the school
  • the school day starts promptly at 8:30 a.m.
  • class lists will be posted in the gym and along the ramp and hallway leading to the gym on Tuesday morning – students are to look for their name on the class lists and then proceed to the gym where you will find rows of seats labelled by class (i.e. 7-1, 8-1, 8-3, etc.);  find the row that corresponds to your homeroom, and have a seat
  • there will be lots of teachers around to help you out in the morning – can’t find your name?  ask a teacher!!!
  • you will spend the majority of your day with your homeroom teacher, but will have an opportunity to meet the other teachers you will have this year during a mini-rotary schedule during the middle block of the day
  • lockers will be assigned on Tuesday – bring your own lock, or buy one from the school for $6
  • 1st NB is at 10:30 – 11:10 and 2nd NB is from 1:10 – 1:50
  • bring a lunch – food sales will not be starting until mid-September
  • dismissal is at 2:50
