Welcome to MacGregor Senior Public School! We are delighted to have both you and your family join us. Whether in grade 7 or Grade 8, the staff at MacGregor are here to help you enjoy your senior school experience and to help you grow as much as possible academically, socially and emotionally.
As an integral and important member of MacGregor P.S., you will quickly realize that life at Mac is fast-paced, exciting, academically challenging, rewarding and full of opportunities. There are two years you will never forget!
On the first day of school
8:15 am | Doors open and students can proceed to gym and check class lists, which will be posted in the upper hallway by the office, down the ramp and in the red tile area. |
8:30 am | Assembly in the gym |
9:26 am | Get to know your homeroom |
10:14 am | 1st Nutrition Break |
10:54 | Continue to review info from before Break, team building etc. |
11:42 | Gr. 7 in gym for assembly (behaviour code, leadership opportunities Character Attributes, MacMerits, etc.) |
12:30 pm | 2nd Nutrition Break |
1:10 pm | Gr. 8 in gym for assembly (behaviour code, leadership opportunities Character Attributes, MacMerits, etc.) |
1:58 pm | Whole School – Year-end video from last year |
2:46 pm | Homeroom |
2:50 pm | Dismissal |
In the next few months, you will have an opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of educational experiences. If you start the new school year with a positive attitude, put forth a dedicated effort, keep an open mind and are willing to take some risks, you are sure to have an incredible year.
